Course DescriptionThis course continues studies from Intermediate Accounting I by exploring additional topics involving financial statement preparation. Subjects include depreciation and depletion, intangibles, current liabilities and contingencies, long-term debt, stockholder's equity, dilutive securities, earnings per share, and investments.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Discuss inventory, property, plant, and equipment, including depreciation
- Identify and describe current and long-term liabilities
- Explain and analyze the concepts and methodologies of accounting systems and their applications
- Analyze selected case studies
